Hermle in the specialist press.
On 01 September 2016 21 new apprentices and 5 students started their apprenticeships at Maschinenfabrik Berthold Hermle AG.
In two introductory weeks, the team concept was promoted jointly in the training department before some of them were sent to respective specialist departments scheduled in accordance with their training plans. The apprentices from the other training years were available together with the five-member training team to take questions from the “novices”. On a visit to the CampusGalli in Meßkirch, the apprentices learned how trades were carried out in the Middle Ages. A joint barbecue with the apprentices from all the training years rounded off the two introductory weeks. With a training ratio of 11% of the workforce, Hermle AG is one of the largest training organisations in the district of Tuttlingen.
