Social Media Marketing Assistant

This position reports directly to the VP of Sales & Marketing:

  • Develop engaging content for each social channel
  • Support with the editorial calendar
  • Execute social media strategies, detailed plans and content aligned with the brand and business
  • Help Marketing Manager with social media campaigns for core products/campaigns
  • Stay current with social media trends and incorporate as appropriate to improve the customer experience, drive sales and leverage ongoing customer involvement
  • Responsible for graphics designs using Photoshop and Adobe InDesign
  • Attend various domestic trade shows as needed
  • General administrative tasks to support other departments
  • Performs all other duties and responsibilities as requested


  • Domestic travel to trade shows is required. Approximately one week per month
  • Periodic International Travel
  • Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, advertising, or communications
  • 1 - 3 years’ experience in Marketing is preferred
  • Experience in manufacturing industry preferred
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills
  • Excellent writing skills including a passion for story telling
  • Experience with Adobe InDesign or similar publishing and page layout designing software
  • Experience with (trade) media outreach
  • Experience in Audio/Video production a plus
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher
